Grace Village is pleased to announce it has received a $100,000 matching grant from the Noel Barrett Shuler Foundation to support its campaign to build a permanent home for the Wellington Community Services Center and Food Pantry. Donations to the campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Shuler Foundation, bringing the total investment in the program to $200,000.

Grace Village has purchased an existing property at 3520 Harrison Avenue. This 2,323 square foot warehouse, situated on three city lots with a fenced yard, will become the new, permanent home of the Wellington CSC, including the much-needed space for the Wellington Food Pantry.

Renovations to the Harrison Road property will begin soon. The space is designed with purpose: to meet the immediate needs of clients and provide room to grow services in the years ahead. With a warehouse layout and ample lot space, the location offers flexibility and capacity for programs.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Noel Barrett Shuler Foundation for their generous support,” said Mark Gabbert, founder and Board President of Grace Village. “This matching grant is a testament to the power of partnerships and will enable us to make a significant difference in the lives of our community’s most vulnerable.”

According to the Noel Barrett Shuler Foundation, the matching grant program will support Grace Village’s mission to provide the Wellington, CO area with the uplifting and life-enhancing resources necessary to support the community’s most vulnerable. Their commitment to provide a permanent home for the Wellington Food Pantry aligns perfectly with our goals, and we are confident that this matching grant supporting the remodel of the newly purchased facility will create lasting and positive change.
