They will open in their new location on Tuesday, February 3rd.
New Expanded Food Pantry Hours
The Food Pantry is expanding its hours to three times weekly to better meet the needs of the community. New hours are:
- Tuesdays: 3:00 – 4:30 pm
- Thursdays: 4:00 – 5:30 pm
- Saturdays: 9:00 – 11:00 am
Families and individuals can pick up food one time each week.
Please note: Saturday distribution at Wellington Middle High School will be discontinued with the opening of the Eyestone location.
Important Parking Notice
The Pantry will not open its doors until 3:00 pm on Tuesdays, 4:00 pm on Thursdays and 9:00 am on Saturdays. They ask that clients do not arrive early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as parking will be unavailable until 3:00 pm due to school dismissal. Please do not try to park before 3:00 pm to avoid interfering with school dismissal. Parking will be in the parking lot east of the circle drive. Only cars with a handicap parking permit will be able to park in the circle drive.
This will be the Food Pantry’s home until its new building is completed later this year.
We are excited to be able to grow and expand our program as we prepare to move into the Community Services Center later this year. It is our mission to provide the Wellington area with the uplifting and life-enhancing resources necessary to support our community’s most vulnerable.
